Song Ji-hyo won the final victory over her former agency and received about 1 billion won.

According to the court on the 13th, Song Ji-hyo‘s former agency, Woojulox Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Woojulox), did not submit her appeal within the appeal deadline.

The period to appeal the judgment in a civil suit is within two weeks from the date the judgment was delivered, and Woojulox did not file an appeal, and this trial ended in Song Ji-hyo’s victory.

Previously, the first trial court ruled on the 22nd of last month that Woojulox must pay her a settlement amount of 984 million won and some interest on late payments. Accordingly, it is reported that the amount she will receive is more than 1 billion won.

Meanwhile, she notified Woojulox of termination of her exclusive contract in April, and filed a lawsuit claiming that Woojurox’s representative, Mr. A, had embezzled 1.2 billion in advertising fees and settlement money. He also filed a criminal complaint against Mr. A for embezzlement.

However, Woojulox continued its inaction by not appointing a litigation representative and not submitting a response, and as Woojulox did not respond in any way, the trial ended with no arguments.

Song Ji-hyo, who later left the agency, signed an exclusive contract with Nexus E&M last October and is actively working. Last month, he confirmed his appearance in the movie ‘House of Meeting’, announcing his screen comeback after 4 years.
